Welcome to ‘My Jewish Journey’, a pathway to explore Judaism and Jewish identity based on traditional sources and the teachings of Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks z’l.
Rabbi Sacks often taught that every Jew is like a single letter in a Sefer Torah. A Torah scroll is only kosher if every single letter is present and intact. If you remove or damage one letter – the entire scroll becomes invalid. Yet no two letters are the same: each has its own shape, position and role.
From this, Rabbi Sacks drew a profound lesson:
“Judaism is only whole when every Jew is present, valued and able to contribute.”
This course offers every Jew a journey to bring more meaning to their lives.
